All UMass Amherst Web pages, other than personal pages, must include one of the versions of the standard top-banner strip, like the strip at the top of this page. This banner brands the site as part of UMass Amherst, links to the home page, and provides access to the site search. This banner can be displayed in white on maroon, white on black, or maroon on gray. Click on the options below to see a preview in the top strip above.

It is essential that you place this banner by copying and pasting the code provided below. By doing this, any updates made to the banner will automatically be passed through to your site. Do not alter the code in any way or create your own version of the top banner.
