HOW TO ORDER TICKETS

By Phone

With a VISA or MasterCard, call the Fine Arts Center Box Office at 545-2511 or 1- 800-999-UMAS outside the local calling area, Monday through Friday from 10am to 6pm while the University is in session.

By Mail

Complete the form or your choice from the downloads in below. Enclose a check or money order made payable to the University of Massachusetts, or indicate credit card payment. Please note your seating preference. Mail to the Fine Arts Center Box Office, 151 Presidents Drive , University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA 01003-9331.

In Person

Stop by the Box Office located at the Fine Arts Center concert Hall Monday through Friday from 10am - 6pm while the university is in session, 10am-4pm otherwise. The box office is also open one hour prior to each ticketed event. Parking is available in the visitor's parking lot next to the Robsham Visitor's Center on Massachusetts Avenue. Sorry, series orders cannot be filled immediately prior to a performance.

SEATING & SERVICES

Seating is assigned on a "best seat available" basis. Patrons wishing to be seated together must submit their order together.

For Mobility-Impaired Patrons

The Fine Arts Center Concert Hall and Bowker Auditorium are equipped with ramps, elevators, and an area that can accommodate wheelchairs. When ordering your tickets, be sure to tell the Box Office of any special requirements. Fully accessible restrooms are available at both locations. An access-parking permit may be obtained from the Box Office and must be visible to parking attendants.

For Hearing-Impaired Patrons

The Fine Arts Center Concert Hall is equipped with Infrared Listening System to assist with sound amplification and clarity. Headphones are available in the lobby free of charge. A credit card, driver's license, or valid student ID will be held as security while headphones are in use.

PRICING INFORMATION

Children 17 and Under

Children 17 and under receive discounts on tickets to all Fine Arts Center Events (special events excluded). Please check the individual series for applicable discounts.

Price Range C Tickets

Price Range C Tickets are only $15 for all Center Series and Asian Arts & Culture events. In order to maintain this affordable ticket price, other discounts, including subscription, do not apply.

Senior Citizens

Senior citizens receive discounts on single ticket purchases. This discount does not apply to subscription orders. Please check the individual series for applicable discounts.

Five College Students

Five College students can attend any Center Series and Asian Arts & Culture Concert Hall event for only $7 (Price Range C), $10 (Price Range B), or $15 (Price Range A.) All tickets for special theater events are $15. For Bowker events, tickets are $7 (Price Range C) and $10 (Price range A.) For all Solos & Duos and Magic Triangle events, all students receive discounted tickets ranging from $5 to $15. Seating is assigned on a "best available" basis. Five College Students already receive a substantial discount on their tickets so additional discounts do not apply. UMass Amherst students must have a valid UCard with paid student service fee. Continuing Ed, UWW, and employee waiver students must pay regular ticket price. All Five-College student-ticket holders must show valid ID on the night of the performance.

UMass Employees

UMass employees receive a 10% discount on Center Series single ticket orders

Group Rates

Group rates are available for all performances. Groups of 20 or more receive a 15% discount off of the regular ticket price. The group discount does not apply to previously discounted tickets.

Curtain times and locations vary, so be sure to check your tickets.
All programs and dates are subject to change.

From the North

I-91 south to Route 116. Take "UMass" exit. Turn left off the exit ramp onto Massachusetts Avenue toward campus. Follow portable signs for Bowker or the Concert Hall.

From the South

I-91 north to Route 9, east on Route 9 through Hadley to Route 116 (across from Midas and Howard Johnson's Motel). Take "UMass" exit off Route 116, continue right off exit ramp onto Massachusetts Avenue toward campus.

From the West

Take Route 9 east into Hadley to Route 116 (across from Midas and Howard Johnsons' Motel). Take "UMass" exit off Route 116, continue right off exit ramp onto Massachusetts Avenue toward campus.

From the Southeast

Go north on Routes 21, 181, or 202 to Route 9 Amherst, Turn right onto North Pleasant Street through downtown Amherst to the Triangle Street intersection (Bertucci's Restaurant will be on your right on the corner.) Turn left, staying on North Pleasant Street to second traffic light. Proceed straight onto Massachusetts Avenue.

From the Northeast

Go West on Route 2, to 202 South, Right on to Pelham Road into Amherst center, Turn right onto North Pleasant Street through downtown Amherst to the Triangle Street intersecti on (Bertucci's Restaurant will be on your right on the corner.) Turn left, staying on North Pleasant Street to second traffic light. Proceed straight onto Massachusetts Avenue.

Concert Hall Events

Free, well-lighted, secure parking is available off Massachusetts Avenue in University lots 32 and 34 and the Visitor's Center lot after 5pm and all day on weekends for Concert Hall events. (campus map)

For patrons with disabilities, parking is available in the lot on the plaza to the right of the concert hall entrance. An access-parking permit must be visible to parking attendants.

Bowker Auditorium Events

For Fine Arts Center events only, parking is available in the Campus Center Parking Garage for $1 with remittance of your ticket stub. Parking is also available in lots 65 and 45. (campus map)

For patrons with disabilities, parking is available at the base of the ramp at the right rear entrance, additional parking is available in lot 65. An access-parking permit must be visible to parking attendants. (campus map)

Gallery Events

For University Gallery exhibits, parking is available in the Robsham Visitors Center, around Presidents Drive, or in the Lincoln Campus Center Parking Garage. For Augusta Savage Gallery and Central Gallery, metered parking is available in front of New Africa House where Augusta Savage Gallery is located and across the street from Central Gallery. For Hampden Gallery, parking is available at meters around the horseshoe parking area off University Drive. (campus map)
