Dianne Z. Sutherland became a Registered and Licensed Dietitian after receiving a bachelor's degree in nutrition and completing a dietetic internship with clinical, food service, and community nutrition rotations. Dianne has worked at UMass Dining Services since 1987 where her responsibilities include menu planning, nutrition education, nutrient analysis, and assistance with special dietary needs such as celiac and food allergies.

If you have special dietary needs for a medical condition or food allergy, you can meet with the dietitian for a free, confidential appointment to assist you with finding foods in the dining commons to meet your needs. Not all dietary needs may be completely met, but UMass Dining Services will try to accomodate you as much as possible.
