A letter from the Corresponding Secretary
To my lovely, wonderful, amazing Delta Deltas,
I am honored to be writing you this letter as your new Corresponding Secretary. I have watched the Sisterhood grow and change during my past three active semesters, and I’m eager to see what the Sisterhood of now is capable of. The possibilities are endless when it comes to correspondence with alumni and outside of our chapter, and I know we can continue to maintain our level of communication and reach new levels of excellence.
My goals for the Fall 2009 semester are as follows:
- Continue to update the database
- Encourage alumni and others receiving Delta Delta Delivers to go green and read the newsletter in a digital format
- Increase District Communication through the Pen Pal Program and Video Chats
- Maintain Alumni relations, from our most recent alumni to those that have delved deep into the real world but still hold TBS in special place in their hearts
- Utilize the Active Member Profiles to introduce neophytes to alumni
- Work closely with the EN KKPsi Corresponding Secretary to coordinate visits to/from other chapters in the District, doubling as an encouragement towards joint relations
- Continue to have successful Correspondence Nights
Even though this may seem like a lot to ask for, I am confident that we will meet/exceed these expectations. So here’s to a promising semester!
